Description
This class will cover three aspects of researching genealogy: choosing your topics, digging into the mechanics of research and now to compile your findings. Do you have interesting family stories or intriguing photographs? Do you wonder what those people lived through? Our past relatives and their experiences helped form what we have become. The mechanics will range from old-fashioned paper digging through historical societies, libraries, and museums and so many online resources. How can you connect with second and third cousins? And what do you do with what you discover? Perhaps an annotated family tree? A memoir? All of this will be of great interest to your future generations…and will let you, as well, develop a broader appreciation for your extended family.
