Linda Fridman and her husband retired to Tucson in 1998 after 31 years teaching and living in Rochester, NY. She joined the docent training program at both Tohono Chul and the Tucson Museum of Art and continues as an active docent at the TMOA doing both lectures and tours.

Description
This two session class continues exploring Indigenous art of the southwest. The first: Pueblo Pottery: Pueblos, Pottery and Personalities in which we will explore the places, people and styles that elevated Pueblo pottery to the artistic excellence and the prominence it has achieved today. The second: The Evolving Art of the Hopi Kachina will delve into the meaning of Kachina in Hopi culture, learn about its traditional and ceremonial significance and its artistic influence. We will also explore other art forms inspired by the Kachina.
