Description

Throughout history, there have been powerful women either on the throne or behind it.  How did they get that power?  What effect did they have?  Did they make changes for the better and how are they remembered?  This 5 week course will include Queen Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth I, Catherine the Great, and Prime Ministers Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi, and Margaet Thatcher, and finally, Eleanor Roosevelt, Eva Peron, and Emmiline Parkhurst.  

Presenter:  Anne Kuperberg is a life-long teacher in districts all over America…New York City, Kalamazoo, MI, New Jersey and received a Teacher of the Year award before an early retirement.  A resident of Saddlebrooke,  Ann teaches regularly in its own ILR and is a repeat popular instructor here in Sun City.
