Description
The Alfie Norton Gem & Mineral Museum, now located downtown in the capitol building, was founded on the UA campus in 1885. It houses an amazing comprehensive and varied collection from all over the world. With an expert docent we will tour three sections: the Mineral Evolution Gallery which traces our human origins through rocks; the Arizona Gallery dealing primarily with copper; and the Gem & Mineral Gallery.
