Music in Patagonia

Sunday, April 2. This is a fun day carpooling to Patagonia for lunch at the iconic Wagon Wheel restaurant, walking Main Street followed by a 2:00 tour and lecture in and about the historic Opera House itself. This will be followed by a 3:00 PM cello and piano concert in the most intimate house setting. Many of the house’s musicians play in the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. The informative tour will include history of the opera house and appreciation for some of their musical instruments. Most participants may prefer to pass up the “champagne and conversation” with the musicians afterwards and head for home so they can arrive in Tucson between 6:30 and 7:00 PM. Your carpool driver and you will decide on your return’s timing. Group size limit is 20, but the minimum required is 8. Cost is $15/pp. plus $30 for the concert itself.
