Earth, Wind and Fire – Sustainability
In the previous course, Earth, Wind and Fire, we examined the concept of sustainable agriculture and feeding the world. In this course we will consider other aspects of sustainability and how our world can accommodate its rapidly growing population without irreversibly consuming its shrinking resources. In this four session course we will also examine the relationship between sustainability and global warming.
Presenter: Randy Myerson is a retired orthodontist and pediatric dentist who has taught a variety of courses for the SCOV ILR. He is not an expert in these diverse topics but is certainly interested and encourages discussion during the class.
4 Wednesdays in February at 9:00 a.m. the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th in the Activity Center’s Hopi Room.
