9. Philosophical Problems and Their Solutions moderated by Gene Bammel
This course will deal with questions like: Why is there something rather than nothing? What can I really know? What is the nature of Consciousness? What do we owe to other people? How should I act? What can I hope for? What’s Religion got to do with it?
Gene Bammel, Ph.D is the author of Everyday Philosophy and has taught courses in philosophy for over fifty years. By now he should have some pretty decent answers for these big questions.
5 sessions, Fridays, 9:00-11:00, Jan 10-Feb 7 (classes meet in Welcome Center Conf. Rm. 3)
