3. Earth, Wind, and Fire – Randy Myerson

Four Weeks, Mondays, March 13, 20, 27, and April 3, 9 to 11 AM  The next world crisis is already here.  With the current focus on climate change, there is very little attention being paid to the future of agriculture. How will we be able to feed the world in 30 to 50 years?  “Not our problem” you say? In this course we will take a deep dive into the very earth, the soil in which we grow our food.  We will examine this worldwide problem and why it’s getting worse. Join Randy as he explores and discusses some of the promising solutions that are already being developed and applied, both here in our land and around the world.

Randy Myerson is a retired Orthodontist and Pediatric Dentist who has previously taught a variety of courses for ILR, including “Forensics,” “Jack the Ripper,” and “Wonders of the Industrial World.” He claims no expertise in these subjects other than an interest in learning and sharing.
